One evening on a Yale walk, I saw this composition. It was dark -my first thought of a missing opportunity-but I pulled the camera and I shot it. When I got home I found a beautifull game of light among the dark pixes. The light spots break the monotony of a simple image. The separation of shadows and hightlights, crossing diagonal from the upper left to the lower right, is very pleasing to me.
