When I walk in the wood, I see these crevices at the base of the many trees. Doors and windows to the underground world. Sometimes they become the gate toward animal condominum complexes. Another way to see it would portrate 2 little animals facing each other in front of an entrance. They are the gate guardians.
A tough image because of lack of color spectrum. A basic composition of vertical lines projecting to the heights. Turning the photo around in any direction brings a complete diffeent feeling. What balance the photo? I believe is the rock on the right.
