Boardwalk

The fundamental duality: objectivity and subjectivity. Some photographers lean toward the objective side and become photo-technicians that use photography to capture representations of reality. Others want to use photography as a tool to explore meaning, shapes and colors.
When I open a photo, I feel an inner tension. Either I treat the photo to capture a moment of time or as a springboard to explore an inner reality.

This photo, part of a series on wall exploration, is clearly a subjective interpretation of colors and shapes.
